Known on YouTube for her soulful voice, evocative solo ukulele arrangements, and warm greetings of “Aloha, everyone!”, the Hawai’i-based singer-songwriter Cynthia Lin brings her new solo show “Songbird” to Berlin. Reflecting on nearly 2 decades as an independent recording artist and touring performer, Cynthia shares an evening of songs and stories that reveal the true experience of an artist’s evolution, from the struggling troubadour playing empty cafes to the Billboard-charting chanteuse building her own worldwide fanbase.

Creator of the 100 Days of Ukulele Project, Cynthia leads an active online creative community with over eight thousand members, and has inspired hundreds of thousands of people to embrace the ukulele as a mindful creative practice. In her words: “I believe we all have the power to create, and that humanity needs creativity for healing, unity, and solutions for a better world. This is why I teach, to empower others to create the world they want to see.”

Cynthia Lin bringt ihre neue Soloshow „Songbird“ nach Berlin

Die aus Hawaii stammende Singer-Songwriterin Cynthia Lin, die auf YouTube für ihre gefühlvolle Stimme, ihre stimmungsvollen Solo-Ukulele-Arrangements und ihre herzlichen „Aloha, everyone!“-Grüße bekannt ist, kommt mit ihrer neuen Solo-Show „Songbird“ nach Berlin. Cynthia Lin blickt auf fast zwei Jahrzehnte als unabhängige Künstlerin zurück und erzählt an diesem Abend Lieder und Geschichten, die die wahre Erfahrung der Entwicklung eines Künstlers offenbaren – von der kämpfenden Troubadourin, die in leeren Cafés spielte, bis hin zur Chanteuse, die in den Billboard-Charts stand und sich eine weltweite Fangemeinde aufbaute.

Als Initiatorin des 100 Days of Ukulele Project leitet Cynthia eine aktive Online-Kreativ-Community mit über achttausend Mitgliedern und hat Hunderttausende von Menschen dazu inspiriert, die Ukulele als achtsame kreative Praxis zu nutzen. Mit ihren Worten: „“Ich glaube, dass wir alle die Kraft haben, etwas zu erschaffen, und dass die Menschheit Kreativität braucht, um zu heilen, zu vereinen und Lösungen für eine bessere Welt zu finden. Deshalb unterrichte ich, um andere zu befähigen, die Welt zu erschaffen, die sie sehen wollen.“

Erlebt Cynthia Lin bei diesem einzigartigen Konzert in Berlin. Im Anschluss spielt und singt sie gemeinsam mit Martha Zan, Sabina Saračević bei einem Sonderausgabe des Berliner Ukulele – Sing und Strum.
